Samsung has finally shown the ultimate mobile phone after very much interesting mobiles. The Vice President of engineering of the multi-national - Google announced during Google's Android Developers' Summit that the company has been working with Samsung on a foldable smartphone.
Samsung's much awaited and talked about foldable smartphone would offer the functionality of a tablet complete with multi-tasking and a big screen.
The Samsung foldable smartphone would basically be Samsung's test bed device to see how reviewers and the market react. The company will be satisfied to make new models and then it will work for new models.
DJ Koh, Mobile Head, Samsung said, "Possibly when we start selling the foldable phone, it may be a niche market, but definitely, it will expand. I'm positive that we do need the foldable phone"
It is sure that the foldable phone would be available globally and would not "disappear after six to nine months after it's delivered."
Focusing and moving forward towards the"larger screen" trend in the smartphone market, the report claimed that a foldable phone would let screen sizes extend beyond 6.5 inches.
Koh had confirmed that Samsung's upcoming device will be launched in 2018 and could debut in November at Samsung's Developer Conference, the report added.
Earlier in September, the South Korea-based company released a teaser of a phone with bendable and foldable display technique.
Chinese electronics giant Huawei could also be getting ready to be the first to launch such a device in November.
The phone wouldn't go on sale before March 2019 because it still has some proper announcement left and maybe it would be announced on February 2019. The name of the phone is not yet decided still it is called 'Galaxy X'.
The phone would be very expensive. It would cost 1,35,000 to 1,80,000 Indian Rupee. So it will obviously break the market.
This mobile is going to change the world of smartphones and it is going to take the standards of smartphones to the sky.
